Estimates from the Jan-June 2017 National Health Interview Survey (NHIS) indicate that 52.5% of US homes had only wireless phone service (CPO – cell phone only) during the 1st half of 2017. This represents an increase of 3.2% versus 1st half of 2016. Nearly three-quarters of all adults aged 25-34 were living in CPO households.
