The National Center for Health Statistics released updated national estimates of the size and characteristics of the population without landline telephones. This new report is based on National Health Interview Survey (NHIS) data collected from January-June 2021. During that time period, 68.0% of adults lived in wireless-only households; 67.2% of adults lived in wireless-only households and had their own wireless telephone.
