Preliminary results from the Jan-June 2015 National Health Interview Survey (NHIS) indicate that nearly half (47.4%) of US homes had only wireless phone service (CPO – cell phone only) during the 1st half of 2015. This represents an increase of 3.4% versus 1st half of 2014. More than two-thirds of all adults aged 25-34 and of adults renting their homes were living in CPO households.
