MRIA Ottawa welcomes The Environics Institute

On November 27, 2014, the Ottawa Chapter of MRIA will host a special presentation on the results of the 2014 AmericasBarometer survey, presented by Dr. Keith Neuman of the Environics Institute for Survey Research.

The presentation will focus on the Canadian results of the 2014 AmericasBarometer, how they have changed over the years, and how Canada compares with other parts of the Western hemisphere with respect to:

  • Confidence in our democracy and public institutions
  • Citizen engagement in the democratic process
  • Protection of democratic rights and freedoms
  • The rule of law and personal security
